Treasure Cove

Open 11:30 AM to 3:30 PM — Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays

Treasure Cove, located just inside the entrance to the Library, is the fundraising store of the Friends of the San Juan Island Library. We sell new and like-new books, videos and DVDs, a few audio books, and children’s book; all available at a low and nominal cost.

We are also now offering two styles of gift wrap, rechargable books lights, and pocket size address books. You can also find t-shirts, book bags, bookmarks, bead zipper pulls, note cards, and seasonal Christmas cards. We have a variety of island-inspired gift ideas such as original paintings by local artists and bead jewelry and cards also by local artists. The inventory of the shop is updated and new items introduced seasonally.

If you have a donation for the Friends of the Library, please feel free to drop off your donated materials at the Treasure Cove any time during Library hours.

The Treasure Cove is managed and staffed by volunteers. Currently, we are open Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from 11 am to 2 pm. We would like to increase our hours of operation so if you are interested in volunteering at the Treasure Cove, give us a call!
