A non-profit tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization, that promotes, encourages, and enhances the work of the San Juan Island Library
The Friends of the San Juan Island Library (a.k.a. the Friends) exist as a patron advocacy group whose activities include fundraising events, bi-monthly newsletters, an annual membership meeting, and financial support for a variety of library programs and purchases. The annual individual membership fee includes admittance to the July Annual Used Book Sale. The Friends raise over $15,000 a year to help support library activities.
Book Donations

Donations of materials may be dropped off at the Friends' store Treasure Cove during the store's open hours. Treasure Cove is open from 11:30 AM - 3:30 PM on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday and is located just inside the main entrance of the library.
